Motorcycle riding is a cheap, economical and fun way to get
around. But in order to ride legally on New Zealand roads you must first
own a valid Motorcycle licence.
Getting your motorcycle licence is similar to the stages of getting your
car license.
Stage 1: learner licence
Stage 2: restricted licence
Stage 3: full licence. But before you can sit your learner motorcycle licence, you must
first prove you can handle a motorcycle by taking a Motorcycle basic
handling skills test.
